Trudi's STEALING POPULAR Blog and Book Give-Away Tour
gave her the chance to visit some of the best middle grade blogs on
the web. The book give-aways are over, for now, (congrats to all the
winners!) but you can still read what Trudi has to say about her new
book, being a writer, her crazy middle school life, and more at these
fantastic blogs:

Thanks to all of the great blogs that hosted Trudi's tour. Don't forget
to watch the
video trailer for the book, too!
Trudi had a grand time at the Grand Challenge of the
King County Library System's Global Reading
Challenge
. As one of the featured authors on the
library's 2012-13 'battle of the books' type booklist, she
welcome the participants and shared a bit about her
writing journey. Trudi also got to watch the final four
teams compete for the championship, which was
amazing! The final challenge had the students
answering tough trivia questions on all ten books on the
list, including Trudi's
No Girls Allowed (Dogs Okay)
from her
Secrets of a Lab Rat series.
Spring, 2013
When the scores were tallied, the Roaring Readers
of Woodridge Elementary in Bellevue, WA (above)
took home top honors, but all of the finalists did a
stellar job. Congrats to the Thorndyke Elementary
Reading Rebels, the Terminal Park Elementary
Rocket Readers (right), and the Helen Keller
Elementary Flying Green Pigs for also reaching the
finals! Each participant went home with a medal, a
tee shirt, and a signed book from Trudi. More than
2,000 students participated in the King County
Library's GRC this year. Great job, readers!
